The client is a leading global laboratory automation company that enables scientists to create data factories connecting their instrumentation with informatics for unprecedented levels of productivity. Their uniquely designed hardware, the most robust laboratory software available, empowers its clients to immediately adapt and re-adapt to science and technology.
The client sought to elevate their operations to new heights by transforming their approach to technology and business processes. They aimed to streamline operations by replacing unsynchronized ISV solutions, which had caused inefficiencies and data inconsistencies. Without dedicated resources to manage and update these ISVs, software components became outdated and incompatible, hindering overall performance.
To achieve a unified system, the client envisioned eliminating these fragmented solutions, ensuring consistent updates, and integrating a reliable, scalable solution across their operations. Salesforce, which they used as their CRM, presented integration challenges, prompting them to seek a seamless flow of data throughout their IT ecosystem.
IT Consulting and Finance Optimization:
DynaTech Systems provided expert IT consulting services to guide the client toward the best solution. We executed a greenfield implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM), focusing on Project Management and Project Accounting modules. By replacing outdated ISV solutions with D365's standard project management module, we ensured streamlined project tracking and consistent management. The implementation of the project accounting module improved financial tracking and reporting, significantly enhancing the client’s financial management capabilities.
Project Planning and Operations Efficiency:
To optimize project planning, resource allocation, and financial management, DynaTech implemented D365 Project Operations. This unified platform improved coordination across all project-related activities, boosting efficiency. The integrated solution streamlined operations, reducing errors and increasing productivity.
DynaTech’s Sales Transformation and Data Flow Integration:
To eliminate data silos, DynaTech proposed the replacement of Salesforce with D365 CE, ensuring seamless integration with other Dynamics 365 modules. This transition enabled real-time tracking of customer interactions and created a cohesive flow of data across the organization. Additionally, we introduced Power BI for advanced analysis, enabling better decision-making and strategic insights.
Seamless Go-Live and Operational Excellence:
DynaTech successfully facilitated the go-live of D365 F&SCM within nine months—achieving a milestone that the client had been working toward for four years. The standardization of D365 modules not only improved project management and accounting processes but also empowered the client to monitor financial performance and make data-driven decisions, paving the way for enhanced business strategies.
