The client designs and curates interiors across hospitality, education, healthcare, leisure, retail, terminals, warehouses, energy, and residential environments, delivering large, multi‑vendor projects with stringent quality and schedule constraints.
Growth exposed operational bottlenecks: a manual, Excel‑driven BOQ or estimate process linked to design tools; paper‑based approvals that delayed decisions; and fragmented order handling across retail, samples, projects (T&M and fixed‑price), maintenance, and returns. Teams needed conditional approvals, robust validation rules, and unified data to accelerate quotes and reduce rework.
DynaTech proposed a cloud‑first blueprint, Dynamics 365 for Sales, Service and Finance, Azure for scale and security, and Microsoft Fabric for analytics; tied together by Dual‑write and an AI‑ready intelligence layer. The objective was to eliminate duplicate entry, standardize approvals and order segregation, enforce role‑based security at business‑unit and country levels, and deliver faster and more accurate quotes with real‑time margin visibility.
Quote Automation & Margin Intelligence
We connected legacy Excel BOQs into D365 CE quote lines (supporting three BOQ templates) so products can be created on the fly, compressing product‑creation lead time. The FinOps rate engine applies official exchange rates, supports multi‑currency vendor pricing, and preserves conversion history. A Quote Margin Calculation Engine assigns accountable owners for shipping, installation, profit, customs, and other costs, delivering real‑time margin transparency.
Conditional Approvals & Workflow at Scale
A Conditional Quote Approval Engine determines approver hierarchy by order type, amount, profit margin, and business unit, triggering policy‑driven email workflows and replacing paper processes with auditable digital trails.
Order Segmentation & Finance Validations
We codified business rules for variation, project, retail, sample, and maintenance orders. A guided business process flow enforces steps and validations, including finance approvals for risk, history, and registration checks—reducing leakage and cycle time.
Dual‑write Integration (CE ↔ F&SCM)
A tailored Dual‑write solution (via CDS) syncs 35+ entities including Products, Orders, Invoices, Payments, Inventory, and master data. Thus providing a single system of record and eliminating re‑keying errors.
Role‑Based Security
Record‑level roles align to 200+ business units and countries. Showroom sales managers can view/edit within their units while country managers access national views, balancing control with agility.
