Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Build and automate business workflows using Power Automate cloud flows.
• Design, configure, and manage Microsoft Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and data models.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Azure services, REST APIs, and third-party applications.
• Develop reusable components, custom connectors, business process flows, and application extensions.
• Build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to support business insights and operational decision-making.
• Implement security roles, permissions, environment strategies, data access controls, and governance policies.
• Apply Power Platform application lifecycle management (ALM) practices to manage solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Maintain technical documentation, solution specifications, and development standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve process automation, application usability, performance, and maintainability.
• Stay updated with Power Platform capabilities, Microsoft ecosystem updates, and AI-powered development tools.

Technical Competency

• Power Apps: Strong expertise in Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, application design, and user experience.
• Power Automate: Cloud flows, workflow automation, approvals, triggers, and process orchestration.
• Microsoft Dataverse: Data modeling, tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and permissions.
• Power BI: Reports, dashboards, data modeling, and business intelligence fundamentals.
• Integration: REST APIs, custom connectors, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and third-party systems.
• Azure & Databases: Azure services, SQL Server, and integration with enterprise data sources.
• Programming & Extensions: JavaScript, JSON, HTML/CSS, and C#/.NET for extending platform capabilities.
• ALM & DevOps: Solution management, environment configuration, deployment pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Security & Governance: Role-based access, Row-Level Security (RLS), data loss prevention policies, and environment governance.
• Quality & Support: Troubleshooting, performance optimization, testing, deployment, and production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
• Strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
• Experience integrating Power Platform applications with Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, databases, and external systems.
• Practical knowledge of custom connectors, REST APIs, and application extensions.
• Understanding of Power Platform ALM, security, governance, and deployment best practices.
• Experience developing scalable applications and automating complex business processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams, functional consultants, and business stakeholders. 

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200).
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CE/CRM, Power Pages, Azure Functions, and Copilot Studio.
• Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) concepts and enterprise governance.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and managed solution deployment.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise application development.
• Exposure to AI Builder, Copilot capabilities, and AI-assisted application development.
