Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

• Develop and optimize data models, datasets, and semantic models.

• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Power Query and other data integration tools.

• Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources, including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.

• Optimize report performance, data refresh schedules, and security using Row-Level Security (RLS).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver reporting solutions.

• Troubleshoot reporting issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and Microsoft BI technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and Business Intelligence.

• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX.

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience in data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).

• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data transformation.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics) is preferred. Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Synapse A

• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Microsoft Power BI Certification is an added advantage.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
