The client is a prominent, environmentally oriented, diversified industrial company. Its solutions play a crucial role in safeguarding individuals, the environment, and industrial equipment worldwide. It caters to a wide spectrum of markets, including industrial air, industrial water, and energy transition, reflecting a commitment to global environmental protection.

Operating across multiple third-party platforms via Dynamics, the organization developed separate APIs to meet each platform's unique requirements. This necessitated the maintenance of distinct API solutions tailored to each platform's specific headers and configurations.

With a 20-year-old legacy data set, the client aimed to migrate and repurpose this data for customer order history and re-order functionalities. Given their exclusive reliance on a third-party e-commerce platform, the absence of an independent customer database hindered marketing campaigns. Consequently, they required an API to transmit item details and customer information.

Moreover, they sought to track user journeys, including click events and analytics, on their e-commerce platform. Integration became crucial to ensure the seamless storage of essential documents from vendors and customers.

DynaTech implemented a tailored Finance Optimization Solution powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365. Our professionals also developed an E-commerce Platform using Power Pages and APIs.

A single API to cater to all platforms: 

  • Created Universal APIs to streamline interactions across all platforms. 
  • Identified the source platform and applicable logic based on header parameters in the incoming requests, ensuring a tailored approach for each. 
  • Maintained a singular project solution to simplify management and enhance efficiency. 
  • Minimized development and bug-fixing time by adopting this unified approach. 

Migrated and Executed ETL Processes 

  • Migrated historical data into the Azure Data Lake, executed ETL processes, and subsequently transferred the processed data into Dynamics. 
  • Utilized the data in Dynamics to showcase customer history. In the event of a reorder request, we verify the same product's availability. If the product is in stock, we place an identical order. If unavailable, we recommend alternative products of a similar nature. 

Developed E-commerce Platform using Power Pages 

  • Introduced Power Pages, an effortlessly maintainable E-commerce platform seamlessly integrated with Dynamics. 
  • Leveraged the same universal APIs employed by other third-party applications. 

Developed an API 

  • We offered a variety of pricing and discount features based on the following parameters: 
    • Individual Customer 
    • Customer Group 
    • All Customers 
    • Threshold Discount 
    • Top-up Items 
  • Our APIs are designed to receive inputs on items and customer numbers, enabling logic execution. Subsequently, we determined the appropriate price and discount from the finance and operations data. 

Data Analysis 

  • The organization aims to track every user activity upon login, including item views, price reviews, cart additions, discount checks, and more. 
  • Through insightful analysis of this data, the organization plans to offer targeted promotions to specific customers or groups, enhancing its ability to tailor offers effectively. 

Cost-Effective Document Storage Solution

  • The organization employs a multi-step verification process for vendor validation and product purchases.
  • Dynamics and Power Pages have been seamlessly integrated with Azure Blob, enabling storing documents on the Blob.
